Customer stories Veena and Ashok have been customers since 2005.

Veena and her husband Ashok have been customers of Bank Australia since 2005 when Veena also joined as a team member.

From the outset Veena was drawn to the bank’s values and community initiatives. Veena shares her story on how she has been able to maintain a healthy work and life balance since joining the team – giving her the opportunity to pursue her hobby in farming and catering.

When she isn’t relaxing with her husband and daughters, or cooking up a feast for the family and friends, she spends time on her curry leaves farm. Apart from the kitchen it’s one of the many places that she finds sanctuary after a busy week.
