We’re excited to be supporting the 2017 ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE festival by CLIMARTE as their Principal Partner.
Through the works of Australian and international artists ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE 2017 explores the power of art to create the empathy, emotional engagement and cultural understanding needed to motivate meaningful change. Taking an inter-disciplinary approach, the festival bridges the arts, humanities and sciences and delves into the meaning of aesthetics to global climate issues.
ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE will present over thirty curated exhibitions at leading museums and galleries in Melbourne and regional Victoria. This includes the impressive feature piece, EXIT, an immersive 360-degree installation commissioned by the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, Paris. EXIT visually correlates contemporary patterns of human movement with urgent global issues of sustainability.
The festival runs from 19 April to 14 May with the majority of the exhibitions free of charge. Check out the program here.
We hope that through art, we can all be enlightened as our actions today impact our future of tomorrow.
