Creating positive social outcomes for people

We work to create positive social outcomes for people - our customers, our staff and the communities in which we operate.

We do this by:

  • investing in a range of initiatives that address social issues of importance to our customers through the Bank Australia Impact Fund
  • being the first customer owned banking institution in Australia to sign a Reconciliation Action Plan to contribute to closing the gap between the First Peoples and other Australians
  • making a commitment to not offshore jobs and create employment in regional communities
  • investing in community housing to help increase the availability of safe, secure and affordable housing.
